Hi I’m Rob, a long time puzzle fanatic and the small business owner of Playjig. Following my hobby for puzzles, I started selling things online in 2020 and found traction in the puzzles and games niche. That’s when I started the company Playjig. My hope is to bring joy to people through the puzzles and games we sell.
All of our puzzles include letter printing on the back for puzzle fun. This allows people who just don’t like sorting… (I know I don’t like that part sometimes). Other times it can be ignore for the full challenge of a good long puzzle. Our puzzles also come with a poster for reference.
Playjig’s manufacturing process ensures that there are No Missing puzzle pieces in all our sets (see video above). This is a huge problem that I and my puzzle hobbyist companions found from many big name companies. Our puzzles are produced through a single-system process. This combination-step is where the precision cutting happens and the pieces are gravity and air pressure forced into bags, all done in a sealed compartment so it is impossible for pieces to be misplaced. This is combined with laser sensors and high speed photos for automation and confirmation of no missing pieces. Our high tech production methods set us higher than our competitors. Many of which are still using hand made methods where human error occurs, for cheaper production costs.
Our puzzles are crafted from a sturdy 1.9mm thick quality grey-board. The Non-toxic quality pieces clip together using a precision cut manufacturing process, which ensures a tight interlocking heritage-quality jigsaw puzzle. Printed at 300 dpi high resolution, they are lastly given a varnish finish for a durable picture.
